They found that hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy improved Doxil tumor penetration and sensitized tumor cells by overcoming hypoxia. This combination synergistically inhibited H22 tumor growth with a remarkable 91.5% inhibition rate. Importantly, the combined treatment showed no additional side effects or promotion of tumor metastasis.
