Researchers investigated the effect of a 2-week course of hyperbaric oxygen on the duration and frequency of cluster headache attacks in four patients with chronic cluster headache.
What They Found
Two out of four patients experienced dramatic improvement in their cluster headache attacks, with benefits lasting 2 and 31 days after treatment. A third patient saw improvement only in attack frequency, while the fourth patient showed no benefit from the treatment.
