What Researchers Did
Researchers evaluated eleven years of experience treating patients with ischemic cerebrovascular attacks using conventional methods combined with hyperbaric oxygenation.
What They Found
Out of 31 patients treated for ischemic cerebrovascular attacks, 23 (76%) showed improvement. Specifically, eight patients improved slightly, eight significantly, and seven substantially, while the condition of the remaining eight patients did not change.
Canadian Relevance
This study has no direct Canadian connection as it was conducted in a different geographical region.
Study Limitations
A significant limitation of this study is its small sample size and the absence of a control group for comparison.
