What They Found
A diving physician developed sharp pain in the right maxillary molars during decompression from 243 kPa (2.4 atmospheres absolute) in a hyperbaric chamber. Clinical examination and radiography suggested a fracture of a heavily restored tooth due to barotrauma, which was managed by tooth extraction.
